Terms of Service
1. General Provisions
1.1. These Terms of Service (hereinafter — Terms) establish the relationship between VšĮ Savigynos šaudymo klubas IDPA.LT (hereinafter — the Club) and individuals using the Club's services, participating in events organized by the Club, seeking to become members of the Club, or visiting the website https://idpa-shooting.lt (hereinafter — the Website).

1.3. The Club is a non-profit public institution. The Club's activities are based on the principle of membership, the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, the Club's statutes, and the rules of the IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association).
1.4. By using the Website, becoming a member of the Club, or registering for a Club event, an individual confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and agrees to be bound by them.
2. Definitions
- Member — a natural person admitted to the Club in accordance with the procedure established in the Club's statutes.
- Participant — a person registered for an event organized by the Club (training, competition, seminar).
- Event — training sessions, competitions, seminars, and other shooting sports events organized by the Club.
- Membership Fee — a periodic contribution established in the Club's statutes or by the decision of the general meeting.
- Match Fee — a one-time fee for participation in a specific competition or event.
3. Use of the Website
3.1. The Website is intended for the publication of information about the Club's activities, membership, events, and results. Use of the Website is free of charge.
3.2. The user undertakes to use the Website only for lawful purposes, not to violate the rights of other users, not to harm the technical operation of the Website, and not to perform actions that could result in unauthorized access to data.
3.3. The Club has the right to temporarily suspend the operation of the Website for technical reasons, maintenance work, or other objective circumstances without separate prior notice.
3.4. The content of the Website is protected under intellectual property laws. Terms of use are described in the Legal Information section.
4. Membership and Membership Fee
4.1. The conditions for membership in the Club, the admission procedure, and the rights and obligations of members are established in the Club's statutes and internal rules.
4.2. The amount of the membership fee and the procedure for its payment are approved by the decision of the general meeting of Club members.
4.3. The membership fee is paid by bank transfer to the Club's bank account, indicating the member's name, surname, and the purpose of payment.
4.4. Paid membership fees are non-refundable, except in cases where the fee was paid erroneously (overpayment, double payment) — in such cases, the overpaid amount is returned within 14 calendar days from the receipt of a written request.
4.5. Membership ends in the cases provided for in the Club's statutes (resignation, expulsion, death, termination of Club activities).
5. Registration for Events and Match Fees
5.1. Registration for competitions, training sessions, or other events organized by the Club is carried out on the Website, by email, or by other methods specified by the Club according to the regulations of a specific event.
5.2. The Participant must provide accurate and correct data required for participation (name, surname, contact details, firearm permit details, IDPA classification, etc.).
5.3. The Match fee, its amount, and the payment deadline are specified in the regulations of a specific event or in the announcement on the Website. The fee is considered paid only when the funds are credited to the Club's account.
5.4. A Participant who has not paid the match fee by the end of the registration period may be denied entry to the event.
5.5. The Club has the right to refuse registration of a person or terminate their participation in an event if the person:
- does not meet the requirements set out in the event regulations (firearm permit, IDPA classification, age, etc.);
- violates the rules for safe handling of a firearm;
- fails to follow the instructions of the Safety Officer (SO);
- is clearly under the influence of alcohol, narcotic, or psychotropic substances;
- acts aggressively or otherwise poses a threat to the safety of others.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
6.1. A Participant who refuses to participate in an event must inform the Club by email at info@idpa-shooting.lt.
6.2. The conditions and deadlines for the refund of the match fee are established in the published regulations (match rules) of the respective competition or event. By registering for the event, the Participant acknowledges and accepts these conditions.
6.3. If an event is canceled due to the Club's initiative or due to circumstances beyond the Participant's control for which the Club is responsible, the paid match fee is refunded or, with the Participant's consent, transferred to another event.
6.4. If an event is canceled or postponed due to force majeure circumstances (see Section 9), the parties shall discuss the refund or transfer procedure individually.
6.5. Refunds are made to the same bank account from which the payment was made within 14 calendar days from the receipt of the Participant's request.
7. Participant Obligations During the Event
7.1. The Participant must:
- possess a valid permit issued in the Republic of Lithuania to use the respective type of firearm;
- adhere to the rules for safe handling of a firearm, the internal rules of the shooting range, and the event regulations (IDPA Rulebook);
- unconditionally follow the instructions of the Safety Officer (SO);
- have appropriate personal protective equipment (eye and hearing protection);
- independently assess their health status and the ability to safely participate in the event.
7.2. A Participant who has violated the safety rules may be immediately removed from the event without a refund of the match fee.
8. Liability
8.1. Shooting is a high-risk activity. The Participant personally assumes the risk associated with participation in shooting events.
8.2. The Club is not liable for damage caused to the health, life, or property of the Participant or third parties arising from:
- the Participant's violation of safety rules, shooting range procedures, or instructor instructions;
- improper use of a firearm, ammunition, or equipment;
- the Participant's health condition, which the Club was not informed about;
- the actions of third parties.
8.3. The Club shall only compensate for damages in the event of the Club's fault and only to the extent provided by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. The Club's liability does not include indirect losses, lost profits, or non-material damage, unless otherwise provided by law.
8.4. The Participant is responsible for their own safety and the safety of their property, as well as for damage caused to the Club, other participants, or third parties due to their actions.
9. Force Majeure
9.1. The parties shall not be liable for non-performance or improper performance of the Terms if it is caused by force majeure circumstances (natural disasters, war, epidemics, decisions of state authorities restricting the organization of events, etc.).
9.2. In the event of force majeure circumstances, the Club shall inform the Participants within a reasonable period and offer to postpone the event or refund the match fee.
10. Personal Data
The procedure for processing personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. The use of cookies is described in the Cookie Settings.
11. Modification of the Terms
11.1. The Club has the right to unilaterally change these Terms. The current version is always published on the Website.
11.2. Changes to the Terms take effect from the day of their publication on the Website, unless the changes are announced to take effect at a later date.
11.3. If the Participant does not agree with the modified Terms, they have the right to terminate the relationship with the Club in the manner established in Section 6.
12. Final Provisions
12.1. The law of the Republic of Lithuania shall apply to these Terms and the relations arising from them.
12.2. Disputes shall be resolved through negotiations. If an agreement cannot be reached, disputes shall be considered in the courts of the Republic of Lithuania according to the location of the Club's registered office.
12.3. A consumer who believes that the Club has violated their rights has the right to apply to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Vilniaus g. 25, Vilnius, tarnyba@vvtat.lt) or the electronic dispute resolution platform https://ec.europa.eu/odr/.
12.4. If an individual provision of these Terms is declared invalid, the other provisions shall remain in effect.
