This Privacy Policy explains how VšĮ Savigynos šaudymo klubas IDPA.LT (hereinafter — the Club) processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania.

Depending on your relationship with the Club, we process the following data:

Membership Data

Name, surname, personal identification number or date of birth, residential address, phone number, email address, firearm permit details (number, expiration date), bank account information for membership fee administration.

Shooting and Competition Data

IDPA classification, competition results, shooting statistics, logs of participation in training sessions.

Security Data

Safety briefing confirmations, range incident logs.

Communication Data

Content of correspondence, requests, complaints.

Technical Data

IP address, browser type, date and time of visits (see Cookie Settings).

4. Data Recipients

Data may be transferred to:

  • IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) — for membership and classification purposes;
  • Competition organizers in Lithuania and abroad — in case of participation in competitions;
  • Shooting ranges where Club training sessions take place;
  • State institutions (Police Department, Tax Inspectorate, Social Insurance Fund, etc.) — when required by law;
  • Accounting service providers;
  • IT service providers (server maintenance, email systems).

Data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area only when necessary for participation in international IDPA competitions or communicating with the IDPA central office. In such cases, appropriate safeguards are ensured as per the GDPR.

5. Retention Period

  • Membership data: for the duration of membership and 10 years after its termination;
  • Accounting documents: 10 years (as per tax laws);
  • Competition results: indefinitely (for historical statistics purposes);
  • Correspondence: up to 2 years;
  • Safety briefing records: 5 years;
  • Consent-based data: until the withdrawal of consent.

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Receive information about processed data;
  • Access your data and receive a copy;
  • Request the rectification of inaccurate data;
  • Request the erasure of data ("right to be forgotten") when there is no legal obligation to store it;
  • Restrict data processing or object to it;
  • Data portability;
  • Lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate.

7. Data Security

Organizational and technical measures are applied: access control, password policies, backups, and data encryption during transmission. Access is granted only to authorized personnel.
