2. Nature of Activity
The Club is a voluntary non-profit public institution uniting practical shooting enthusiasts and athletes. Our core activities include:
- Promotion and development of the IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) shooting discipline in Lithuania;
- Organization of training sessions, competitions, and events for Club members;
- Representation of members in Lithuanian and international IDPA competitions;
- Propagation of safe firearm handling;
- Management of the IDPA classification for members.
The Club does not engage in the commercial sale of firearms, ammunition, or commercial training. Activities are conducted on a membership basis.
3. Membership
Membership conditions, the rights and obligations of members, membership fees, and the Club's management procedures are established in the Club's Statutes and Internal Rules. These documents are provided to members upon joining or can be requested via email.
4. Liability and Risk
Important Safety Warning
Shooting is a high-risk activity. Club members and guests, while participating in training and competitions:
- Must possess a valid firearm permit issued or recognized in the Republic of Lithuania;
- Must strictly adhere to safe firearm handling rules and range internal regulations;
- Must follow all instructions given by the Safety Officer (SO);
- Personally assume all risks related to shooting activities that may cause damage to health or property;
- Are responsible for their own safety and the safety of third parties in accordance with applicable laws.
The Club is not liable for damage to the health, life, or property of members or guests arising from non-compliance with safety rules, SO instructions, improper firearm use, or health conditions.
5. Intellectual Property
All content published on idpa-shooting.lt — including texts, logos, photographs, graphic elements, and training methodologies — is the property of the Club or its partners and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Any use, reproduction, or distribution of this content without written consent is prohibited.
The "IDPA" trademarks and related signs belong to the International Defensive Pistol Association and are used under membership terms.
